Meet Luka
Luka is a Canadian immigration lawyer based in Ontario. Having immigrated to Canada from the former Yugoslavia at an early age, Luka was always passionate about immigration law, and he has been dealing with immigration issues since even before his legal career. After completing a Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degrees in Political Science at Simon Fraser University, BC, specializing in Canadian immigration issues, he attended Law School at the University of Victoria. As a student, he did pro bono work at UVic’s legal clinic, as well as for several BC government ministries.
While working in Ottawa, Luka gained more experience in real estate transactions, family, wills, refugee claims, small claims, and personal injury, achieving a well-rounded background in many aspects of the Canadian legal system. He has also worked as an immigration lawyer at firms in Mississauga and Toronto, where he helped hundreds of clients with their spousal/child sponsorships, Temporary Resident Visa applications, citizenship/permanent residency applications, especially the Express Entry system, provincial nominees, study permits, and work permits. Luka's goal is simple: to represent his clients' interest to the fullest extent possible. He will be your advocate in your legal issue, and he will never stop fighting for you. He leverages modern technology in the practice of law, keeping waste to a minimum and giving clients an efficient and effective advocate. Luka is also fluent in Serbo-Croatian. Outside of law practice, his interests include global politics, science and technology news, and nature. He looks forward to assisting clients with their immigration needs. He is based in the Niagara and Hamilton Region but has clients all over the world. Call or email Luka to schedule a free 30 minute consultation!
